5GHz High-efficiency DPD FEM Solution
Introduction
KCT8578N is a highly integrated RF front-end integrated circuit incorporates key RF functionality needed for IEEE 802.11a/n/ac/ax/be WLAN systems operating in the 5.15-5.925GHz range. It integrates a high-efficiency, linearizable power amplifier (PA) + T/R switch + low noise amplifier (LNA) with dual gain steps and with LNA-Bypass, the associated matching network and harmonic filters all in one device.
KCT8578N provides an excellent heat dissipation environment for Wi-Fi 7 network equipment which have multiple RF paths configuration. It achieves ultra-low power consumption while providing a competitive EVM level when cooperates with the DPD algorithm. A DC voltage output power detector and a directional RF coupler are integrated to support closed-loop power control within the system.
KCT8578N is assembled in a compact, low-profile 3x5x0.812mm 24-lead LGA package, which is an ideal RF front-end solution for implementing 5GHz high-power WLAN systems supporting multiple standards including 802.11a/n/ac/ax/be.
